Josh Connell grew up at Salem and lives with his wife Maddie in St. Paul. They have seen the effects of the rogue violence and vandalism in their community and want to partner with local organizations to provide help. Josh has coordinated with us through his parents, Jane and Gerry Connell in Hutchinson, to help collect items through Salem. This collection will take place at Salem, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings (June 2, 3 and 4) from 9AM-12PM.

Items needed include:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Diapers
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Baby formula
  • Hand tools (second-hand battery powered drills with battery and charger, hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures, saws, anything to be used for repair and reconstruction, etc.)
  • Hand sanitizer

Other questions about donations of items or money should be referred directly to Josh at 320-226-7866 or by email josh@urbantennis.org. Josh would love to help make the stories of the situation known.

If you happen to have any boxes, please bring these to Salem as well. Contact Pr. Matt Philaya. Pr. Matt will coordinate the transportation of these items to Hutchinson on Thursday afternoon.
