About Worship at Salem
Each Sunday, we have a worship service at 9:30 a.m. followed by coffee fellowship in our social hall. With a yearly average Sunday worship attendance of around 100, Salem is a place where you will get to know people and they will get to know you.
The Sunday Volunteer list is posted to the daily schedule on our home page; click here to redirect to our homepage.
Below is Salem's typical monthly worship schedule:
When there is a fifth Sunday of the month, those will be dealt with individually.
Every Sunday is different! And there are many unique services throughout the year as well! Our Sunday morning worship services are at 9:30 a.m. and we hold worship on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. during Lent and for select holidays. Below are dates of other holiday and special services:
Members of Salem take turns serving Sunday morning coffee, serving at funerals, and other events through assignment to a SOS (Servants of Salem) Family. There are three SOS "families" and each family is assigned certain serving tasks for the duration of three years. Refer to a Salem SOS Booklet (available in the church office) for more information.
Milestones take place during the Sunday School year as a special part of the worship service. Together with their parents and the congregation, children (babies-High School Seniors) are recognized for having reached a special milestone in their life of faith. There is usually a special gift associated with each Milestone.
