Worship: Sunday mornings at 9:30am
1st & 2nd Sundays of each month are a traditional service;
3rd & 4th Sundays of each month are a more contemporary service
Holy Communion: 1st & 3rd Sun. of Every Month
Sunday School: Sept. - May, 8:30am to 9:15am
Sunday School will begin on September 16, 2018!

SALEM QUILTERS HAVE DECIDED NOT TO MEET IN THE MONTH OF JULY DUE TO TOO MANY CONFLICTING SCHEDULES: The quilters will resume meeting in August on Tuesdays, but at a new time. Please note the quilters will meet on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. (Strombeck Room) beginning in August.

THE TABLE IS A MINISTRY OF SALEM!
The Table is a a free community breakfast at Salem on the last Saturday of every month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome! The Table is also looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve the meals. Click here to open our "Community" page to see what dates volunteers are needed. SALEM PRAYER CHAIN
The Salem Prayer Chain is a volunteer group of Salem members who pray by request for the needs of others. Prayer requests may be for yourself or someone else, and may be for healing or other challenges in life. Requests can remain anonymous if you wish, and privacy of individuals is always respected. Please contact Ruby Flickinger at 269-2220 or 226-8591 with any requests you may have. This is different from the Sunday prayers listed in the bulletin. To be included in the Sunday prayers, please call the Salem office (269-7624) or e-mail us (email@example.com).
If you are interested in visiting our homebound, others who would like a visit, or if you yourself would like a visit, please contact Robin Schwaegerl at 269-7576 or Meredith Brown at 269-5676.
THANK YOU to everyone who made the Better Together event in Montevideo on July 10 such a success! Through the efforts of everyone involved- planning, coordinating, fundraising, publicizing, setting up, cleaning up, and the helping hands of about 400 volunteers- an amazing 127,000 meals were packaged!! These meals will be distributed to local food shelves, area school backpack programs, disabled Veterans and others in need. Thank you again for coming together to make this all possible!

Thank you to everyone, and especially the willing workers, who again made our annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, June 20 a success! A special thank you goes to the Community Band for providing us with lovely music.
Thank you to Salem & Friends Relay Team for their involvement with the 2018 Chippewa Yellow Medicine Counties Relay for Life on May 18. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way - contributing to sales, selling or purchasing at sales, selling or purchasing luminaries, and to those who participated in the event and helped with set up or clean up. Thanks to Carol Westberg for being the Salem & Friends team leader, and to Ally Buseman for help with advertisement through Salem. Through the efforts of all these people, Salem & Friends raised over $2,000 to aid in the fight against cancer!!
