Salem's Summer Worship Schedule (May 22-Sept 4): Salem will be replacing Sunday worship with Wednesday evening worship to accommodate our members' busy Summer weekend schedules. It is Salem's hope that by holding worship on a weekday evening throughout the Summer, it will be easier for our congregation members to attend worship in the Summer months. Please mark your calendars for WEDNESDAY evening worship at 6:30 p.m., to begin May 22
ELCA Community Vacation Bible School will be hosted by Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo from June 2-6. Open to all kids in Grades PreK-4th. Cost is $10/child ($20 family max). A meal will be served at 5pm (optional) and programming will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Please click here to register.

MONTEVIDEO COMMUNITY VBS: VBS (Vacation Bible School) will be hosted by Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo on June 2-6. Each night, a meal will be served at 5 p.m. (optional) and programming will be from 5:30 - 7:30p.m. All PreK - 4th Grade students are welcome to attend; cost is $10/child (family max of $20). 'THE TABLE' IS A MINISTRY OF SALEM! The Table is a free community breakfast at Salem on the last Saturday of every month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome! The Table is also looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve the meals. Click here to open our "Community" page to see what dates volunteers are needed. Sign-up by contacting Salem's office, or use the sign-up sheet provided at Salem on Sunday mornings.

SALEM PRAYER CHAIN: The Salem Prayer Chain is a volunteer group of Salem members who pray by request for the needs of others. Prayer requests may be for yourself or someone else, and may be for healing or other challenges in life. Requests can remain anonymous if you wish, and privacy of individuals is always respected. Please contact Ruby Flickinger at 269-2220 or 226-8591 with any requests you may have. This is different from the Sunday prayers listed in the bulletin. To be included in the Sunday prayers, please call the Salem office (269-7624) or e-mail us (email@example.com).

Thank you to everyone who helped 'Salem and Friends' RELAY on Friday, May 17th at the 2019 Chippewa Yellow Medicine Counties Relay for Life in Montevideo. A special thank you goes to our team captain, Carol Westberg, for all of her organizing and fundraising efforts over the last year. We also want to recognize Ann Nordstrom for selling the most luminarias. Thank you to all of our team members, everyone who walked with us, and all those who made purchases or donations through us for the American Cancer Society. Salem raised about $2,100 this year and qualified as a "bronze donor."
Thank you to Allan VanRavenswaay of Hope Reformed Church in Montevideo for joining us at Salem on Sunday, May 5 to speak about mission work in Haiti.
Our Sunday School year came to a close on Sunday, May 5 - we want to thank all of our students for another great year and thank you to our Sunday School parents for teaching!
