Santa Lucia Sunday is December 8! Sunday School Christmas Program Performance Sunday is December 15 (during worship, 9:30am). The Table: A Free Community Breakfast, is hosted by Salem on the last Saturday of each month. Our next breakfast: Saturday, November 30 at 8:30-10 a.m. Worship: Sundays at 9:30am
1st & 2nd services of each month are a traditional service; 3rd & 4th services of each month are a more contemporary service. Time for fellowship follows each service. SLC NewsWORSHIP & EDUCATION:
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Salem Sunday School classes for PreK - Grade 6 meets at Salem on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. for music and a Bible lesson with Pastor Matt before splitting into small groups for class time until 9:15 a.m. Worship begins at 9:30 a.m.
SALEM CONFIRMATION: Salem confirmation classes for Grades 7-9 meet at Salem on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. (meal provided at 6:15 p.m.).

SANTA LUCIA SUNDAY DECEMBER 8: Our 'Santa Lucia Festival of Lights' celebration is Sunday, December 8th. We will welcome Ross Sutter and his group of musicians again this year for a wonderfully musical worship service, followed by fellowship with singing, dancing and many Swedish treats! There is no craft or bake sale this year, but since Santa Lucia helped the poor, we invite you to bring a donation for our local food shelf: either boxed, canned, or monetary. In appreciation, you will receive a complimentary Christmas ornament made by a Salem church member...while they last! CHRISTMAS PROGRAM SUNDAY DECEMBER 15: Save the date for our Sunday School Christmas program performance of “UnFrozen” on Sunday, December 15 at 9:30 a.m. CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP DECEMBER 24 AT 5PM and 10PM BITTERSWEET NEWS: Our Office Administrator, Allysan Buseman, will be stepping out of her staff role here and into a full-time Office Administrator positon at Trinity Lutheran Church, Montevideo, beginning in December. Ally and her family will continue to be involved here as Salem members. Thank you to Ally for her hard work over the last few years to help us update and develop the role of Office Administrator at Salem. Ally has a sense of God's calling and a passion for this type of work, and while I'm sad to lose her at Salem, I'm delighted for her in this new opportunity at Trinity. –MP 'THE TABLE' IS A MINISTRY OF SALEM! The Table is a free community breakfast at Salem on the last Saturday of every month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome! The Table is also looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve the meals. SALEM PRAYER CHAIN: The Salem Prayer Chain is a volunteer group of Salem members who pray by request for the needs of others. Prayer requests may be for yourself or someone else, and may be for healing or other challenges in life. Requests can remain anonymous if you wish, and privacy of individuals is always respected. Please contact Ruby Flickinger at 269-2220 or 226-8591 with any requests you may have. This is different from the Sunday prayers listed in the bulletin.
